Introducting Lighthouse Inspections
Thank you for your interest in Lighthouse Inspections.
It’s an understatement to say that this is an extraordinary time. Due to the global Corona Virus pandemic (COVID-19), we are seeing limited mobility that is directly impacting insurers.
Inspectors are unable to visit homes and properties in the US so the process has all but ground to a halt. Uncertainty about the severity and duration of the crisis has led to an increased interest in our Lighthouse Inspections app so that policyholders can help comply with the inspection requirement. In fact, no one has better access to the home than the person sheltering in place.
Our business model is based on the idea that loss prevention should engage all industry stakeholders throughout the insurance lifecycle including the insureds, agents, brokers, and carriers. Traditional inspectors remove the property owners and managers from this process but the Lighthouse Inspections app puts the power back in their hands.
Please note that there is no additional cost to download the app but some app stores use terms like “get" or “buy.” Once the app has been downloaded, you have access to a chat support along the way.
Once the inspection is completed, all future correspondence must be through the policyholder to the agent and the agent to the insurer.
Please note that failure to complete an inspection within the expiration date may result in a notice of cancellation. Contact your insurer directly with those questions or concerns.
If you have questions about this requirement, please contact your underwriter or Garrett@cig-llc.biz.
Technology is hard. Not everyone has an iPhone, Android or other smart phone device. Feel free to contact us at 719-301-7157 M-F 8am-5pm MST

additionally…
We also utilize satellite imagery to capture a view of your roof and property for the inspection. You are not expected to provide this for loss control assessment but it is included in a report to your insurer.
Unable to perform a self inspection through the Lighthouse Inspections app? No worries. For an additional fee, we can arrange for a traditional home inspection. Rates average between $300-$500. Please contact your insurance agent immediately.
